rain 0 °F

Unfortunately, they’re calling for rain today. So we decide to go to Sonoma and tour the mission there and some other buildings there which are part of the state historical park. We tour the northern-most mission, Mission San Francisco Solano, and then the Sonoma Barracks; watch a movie in the Barracks about the area; and then visit the Visitors Center in town. By lunchtime, it’s starting to rain fairly steadily so we decide to forgo an outdoor winery tour and just stop in at the Knudes Estate for their free ‘cave tour’. Well, you get what you pay for and they basically just take you into their wine cellar caves and say ‘this is our cave’. But it is dry in there :-) This area has field after field of grape vines. The hills are just covered with them.

It's still raining steady so we decide to do a little shopping. We make a stop at Circuit City and buy a digital camera to replace my broken one. No research, no cost comparison, just look to see what they have in my price range and pick the best one.

We get back to the RV and I do some quick research to see what the reviews say about my camera. They all say good camera for the price (it's not an expensive one, I go through cameras too quickly for a large $$$ investment), so I open the box and figure out how to use it. Looks pretty simple. I hope it lasts for at least the rest of our trip :-)

okay, that was a lot of catching up! I have been so worried about you guys, we haven't heard from you in a month! Please don't do that again, not good for ones heart! Your pictures are just breath taking!!!! Claire, I am so glad you were finally in a picture! Oh, I have retatives in California and I have been to Solvang- just love it!!! Did you see Andersons, famous for their Green pea soup, if it is still there, I haven't been there since the 70's. but there was a soft pretzal place there, can't remember that, but I loved those. Well, seems like things have been going well, and hey, you are not the only camper to sleep in their clothes, that is done all the time, especially if you want to stay warm! The weather has been a little crazy here in Central Pa, last week on day it was 85 and now we are having rain and back down in the 50's crazy..... As always, safe travelling and hope to hear from you soon! Joe, Happy Belated Birthday, sounds like you had a great day!!!! Robin
